The New Year’s Day tradition continues on Sunday, January 1, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Goddard State Park Beach in Warwick. Ring in the new year supporting a great cause! Take a run through the ninja-style obstacle course or a cleansing plunge into the refreshing waters of Narragansett Bay. Your bravery helps support MENTOR Rhode Island’s work to ensure Rhode Island youth have access to the motivational and supportive relationships they need to grow into confident, successful adults. What you need to know:
$44/person for a run in the traditional Frozen Clam Dip or Obstaplunge
Ninja-style course will run about every 15 minutes starting at 11:00 a.m.
The traditional Frozen Clam Dip will be at noon
Last call for the Obstaplunge at 12:30 p.m.
Super important stuff:
All participants must sign a waiver — under age 18 must be signed by a parent/guardian
Forms will be sent to participants in advance so they can be printed, filled out, and brought to the event ready to hand in (if possible, pretty please)
