The Gamm is one of the region’s premier professional theaters and a cultural asset since its founding in 1984. It’s a destination for critically-acclaimed productions, including numerous world and regional premieres. The Gamm’s professional recognitions include several Elliot Norton Awards from the Boston Theater Critics Association. Through a range of education and community programs, The Gamm promotes lifelong literacy for thousands of K-12 students, as well as underserved audience members each year. Humanities forums and post-show talkbacks further enhance the intellectual and cultural life of the community. Season 34 (2018-2019) marked The Gamm’s first in its permanent home in Warwick. With more seats, as well as greater comfort and potential, this newly renovated venue has improved the experience for performing artists and the audience.
