The Library, along with the Kentish Artillery Armory (now home to the Warwick Center for the Arts) and City Hall, are on the National Register of Historic Places as The Warwick Civic Center Historic District. Centrally located on Post Road in Apponaug, the historical granite building housing this branch of The Warwick Public Library is a throwback and has many niches and cozy spaces to read a book, tablet, or contemplate. Due to space limitations, the overall collections are comprehensive but limited; there is a computer available. Stories for kids 3-5 on Thursdays at 10 a.m. and many events are planned weekly. Closed Saturday and Sunday. Weekly hours vary; please check website. Street parking is available in front of the library with additional parking available in the two municipal lots behind the building.
