Short Scenic Strolls
Encounter breathtaking landscapes and the local wildlife on a short and sweet stroll with the family (including Fido!) through the New England landscape.
Barton Farm features a half-mile gravel walking path with gorgeous views of Warwick’s fields and marshes. Low stone walls provide plenty of spots to sit and rest along the pathway and take in the views. Similarly, Belmont Park is just over a half-mile-long dirt path that offers stunning riverfront views and a nearby playing field.
Experience Warwick’s waterfronts in unique hikes throughout Chepiwanoxet Park or George B. Salter Memorial Grove. Chepiwanoxet Park is half a mile of dirt and grass paths that lead to benches overlooking Greenwich Bay. Explore the rocky shoreline and enjoy the peaceful scene away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Salter’s Grove is a short dirt nature trail with picturesque views of the Providence River.

If you’re looking for a shorter hike, consider Warwick City Park, encompassing three miles of paved walking and biking paths through the woods and along the shore of Brushneck Cove.
Trek over a mile through old wood roads and paths at the scenic Dawley Memorial Forest that leads to a pond at the edge of an old farm.
Check out Rocky Point Park, which features a paved walking and bicycle pathway along the shore of Upper Narragansett Bay and through the small, wooded areas for one and a half miles.
