You’ll want to add Oakland Beach to your Warwick itinerary. This saltwater inlet bay features beautiful views, a playground and boat ramp. After a romantic stroll on the shoreline, warm up with some of Iggy’s white clam chowder, clam cakes, and fried doughboys.
There’s also Goddard Memorial State Park, which features gorgeous winding trails that can be combined to create varying distances, with the choice of walking the park’s paved roads along the shore of Greenwich Cove or the horseback riding dirt trails.
Check out Rocky Point Park, which offers a little bit of everything, including a paved walking path and views of Narragansett Bay.

Grab an informational packet at City Hall and take a self-guided tour through 22 different historical sites of a city known for being an important mill village and seaport.
Dive deeper into the past with a visit to the Clouds Hill Victorian House Museum, which features awe-inspiring architecture, furnishings, and other collections illustrating 19th-century life. The museum also has a stunning carriage museum and an outdoor arboretum. Fun fact: the house is featured in “The Gilded Age” TV series.

Conimicut Lighthouse and the Warwick Neck Lighthouse both have a rich coastal history, providing important light guiding off the coast of RI. Conimicut Lighthouse is not open to the public but can be seen from Conimicut Point Park and by boat. Warwick Neck Lighthouse was the last traditional lighthouse built in Rhode Island and is currently operated by the Coast Guard.
