“Stay in Warwick, See Rhode Island” is our motto, and, as home to the internationally-recognized Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport, we’re about as easy to travel to as it gets. And recent improvements at T.F. Green are sure to further enhance your travel experience!

Breeze Airways – which established the airport as a base of operations last year – has begun flights from T.F. Green to Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This marks a milestone for the airport, which has long envisioned offering non-stop flights to the West coast! Last week, the airline also announced its intention to expand T.F. Green as a hub with 35 routes, 400 jobs, and an additional one million annual passengers over the next five years.

All told, among the nine airlines currently serving T.F. Green, there are presently more than 100 daily non-stop flights and hundreds of connecting flight options. Non-stop destinations include: Atlanta, Baltimore, Charleston, Charlotte, Chicago Midway, Chicago O’Hare, Cincinnati, Columbus (Ohio), Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Ft. Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Greenville-Spartanburg, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Myrtle Beach, Nashville, New Orleans, New York LaGuardia, Newark, Norfolk, Orlando, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Punta Gorda, Raleigh-Durham, Richmond, San Diego, Santo Domingo, Sarasota, Savannah, Tampa, Vero Beach, Washington Dulles, Washington National, and West Palm Beach.

The ease and convenience of travel to and from T.F. Green is well known to regional residents, but you may not know that the airport has also received a number of national accolades in the past several years: frequently named as one of USA TODAY’s “Readers’ Choice Best Small Airports,” it has earned further distinction as a “Top Three” airport in Travel + Leisure’s “World’s Best Awards.”

Most recently, the airport was named one of the Top 3 Airports in the U.S. and, most impressively, one of the Top Ten in the World by the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards for 2023!

But it’s not just about the ease of travel, convenient parking, and variety of flights available that make T.F. Green the perfect choice for your travel needs. A new initiative, dubbed the “Sunflower Program” now affords guests with unseen disabilities the option of obtaining, at no cost, a sunflower lanyard, pin, or bracelet to wear, alerting airline and terminal staff that they may need assistance with airport processes or procedures.

In addition, the taxi pickup spot has also been moved closer to the passenger arrival/baggage claim area to make it more convenient for passengers. And, along with a good variety of dining options and shops to help you while away your time waiting for takeoff, among the amenities offered are the Hope Reflection Room, which offers a space of serenity and respite, the RI Military Organization lounge, which is available to all military members and their families, free We-Fi, and a service animal relief area.

And at certain times, you might also be welcomed by the sounds of live piano music, or may be greeted by one of RIAC’s enthusiastic volunteers or comfort dogs! A multi-million dollar investment has also led to a variety of enhancements throughout the terminal to further assure your safety and comfort, including completely refurbished and expanded restrooms, which, believe it or not, have become the talk of the town in the travel world, thanks to their sleek, modern new design.

With an airport renowned for its hassle-free travel experience, and 16 hotels to choose from, when you’re planning your next trip, Stay in Warwick and See Rhode Island!
