WARWICK CENTER FOR THE ARTS

The Warwick Center for the Arts, located next to City Hall in Apponaug, brings works of art in group and solo exhibitions hosted in two galleries: the Main Gallery and the Small Works Gallery. A poetry series, The Mad Poets Cafe, takes place monthly on every fourth Saturday and draws poets from throughout New England. Live theatre, including Bring Your Own Improv, and independent film is also part of their commitment to artistic excellence in Warwick.

Classes at The Museum School at WCFTA begin every March and runs throughout the year, offering instruction for all ages in Basic Drawing, Painting, Color, Figure Studies, and more. The very popular Summer Art Camp, held each year from June through August, gives younger students a fun, exciting introduction to art in the form of five-day workshops, ranging from collage, to acting and singing, to papier mache, to poetry writing, and more!

General admission is free, except for certain events. Please call for registration information. WCFTA welcomes class and group tours.
